NEW YORK CITY

We are excited to welcome everyone to celebrate this special day in our lives.
Our hope is that we provide as much information for guests who will be joining us from outside of New York City so planning is as easy as possible. With the city offering endless options, we have tried to point people in the right direction with accommodations that will make it easy to get around.
Thank you for sharing this day with us and being part of our story. We can't wait to see everyone and make the day unforgettable.

Our Story

How We Met

Kelly and I met in our senior year of high school. For 3 years, we went to school right across the street from one another, but we had never met prior to Camden (one of Kelly's longest friends and bridesmaids) introducing us.
The first time we met was for dinner in downtown Birmingham, MI. Kelly arrived before I did (this has not happened since) and I said, "Sorry for running a few minutes late." Kelly introduced herself by mumbling under her breath saying, "Don't let it happen again." Hardly a love at first sight moment, but the sense of humor and fire she had then is still ever-present to this day and one of the many reasons we are each others best friend.
Over the years, our relationship has taken us from Michigan to New Hampshire to Scotland to New York. It has made us stronger and has allowed both of us to know that we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together.

The Proposal

It's important to know that Kevin and Kelly are both creatures of habit. And during the summer months, they would frequently visit Battery Park on the weekends - "The Spot." On October 17th, Kevin and Kelly were set to move into a new apartment in the Financial District of New York City, close to "The Spot." Using the new apartment as an excuse to head in that direction, they biked down to "The Spot" where Kevin proposed and Kelly said yes.
Special thanks to Mrs. Bohun for camping out in the bushes and capturing the moment for us - we couldn't have done it without you and Mr. Bohun.
